OUR STORY
We love food, we love to cook, and we love to eat! That’s how Dari’s Kitchen began. Having an amazing, qualified chef in the family helps of course, making things so much more fun, interesting, and delicious!
Yehiel (or Kap as we know him), our wonderful husband and father, is hugely passionate about fresh produce. Having studied agriculture, Yehiel’s recipes have always been about nutritious food, simple cooking, and quality ingredients, with no compromise.
And so, after many years in the restaurant and catering industry, we started our journey in our home kitchen, creating the fresh dips that we knew and loved from our upbringing. Our dip range grew to become our Pilpel Fine Foods brand.
Soup is a dish we just love to cook and eat in our family, so this was naturally next out of our kitchen. Yehiel tweaked our recipes, experimented with new ideas, and DariKay small batch soup – now rebranded to DARI’S – made its way from local markets to supermarket shelves. It’s now the leading chilled soup brand in Australia.
And of course, we had to include our homemade hummus, which has a little extra flair! Our flavoured and garnished hummus is our Dari’s Table range, made traditionally and inspired by the flavours of our home country.
As we continue on our exciting food journey from our much bigger Marrickville kitchen, we will always stay true to our roots, supported by our small, hard-working team that we’re proud to call our extended family.
